Ginny

January 17th, 2008

I never met Ginny, sadly, and I don’t have a picture of her at this time. She was a young kitten, orange and playful, and she loved my best friend, Judy Davis, who lives in another state (thus explaining why I never met Ginny). She was full of life, sometimes too much, and got run over by a car a couple of months ago. We miss Ginny very much.

Again today I was saddened by the death of Benjamin, a cocker/schnauzer mix whom I never met. His mom, Debbie Waddlle, contacted me about putting his memorial here. Here is Debbie’s message to me about Ben’s life.

Ben was eight years old and we always said that if Ben was a human boy, he would have on overalls with a frog in his pocket. He was a hugger too. When Ben was happy, you had to bend down and he would wrap his paws around your neck. In fact, he wouldn’t stop jumping up and down until you let him give you a hug. He was the sweetest little boy and I will miss him everyday. God bless you Benjamin and say Hi to our other furry friends that are up there with you.

Ben passed on Monday, January 14, 2008. His mother, Debbi, is devastated, and I am filled with sorrow at the thought of this beautiful, vibrant animal no longer being with us. I am very happy that I was able to make his acquaintance. He was a charmer.

A Memorial

January 16th, 2008

Far too early in the life of my business, one of the pets I had photographed passed on. I have decided I want to have a place on the web where we can honor our lost pets.

If you have lost a pet, now or in the past, whether I’ve taken portraits or not, you are welcome to email me your pictures and some words about your pet, and I will post them here for your friends and family to visit and pay their respects.
